Another Girl's Life: Nars Blush Crush...Zen

I'm becoming obsessed with Nars, I think everyone is, I felt before Christmas we were on the cusp of a Nars tidal wave and it really is the brand to have. Until a few months ago I'd stayed away from Nars as to me, I thought it was really expensive and quite a luxury brand and I just thought, I don't need a new expensive brand to be obsessed with!

But fast forward a few months and it's all change and I'm starting to build up a little blusher collection! You may have read my previous post on Nars Gina which was my first fray into Nars blushers and now I present to you...Nars Zen.

This is a matte blusher which is gorgeous taupe/brown slightly warm peachy shade, but noway as peachy as Gina, it's defo in the brown blush family. These shades really suit me and I'm straying further and further away from pink tones which I seem to have a lot of despite the fact their not my best!

I originally tried this at a Nars event I went to on behalf of zee day job and fell in love with it. I find Nars blushers can look one way in the pan, as in, perhaps not that appealing or jump out at me at the counter, and completely different on the skin. This was used to contour on me and as soon as it went on I thought, why have I not paid more attention to this on my weekly trips to the Nars counter in Selfridges?

So needless to say I was hooked, and as I have a love/hate relationship with my Sleek contour kit and my MAC Harmony blush I thought, why not add this into the mix, can never have too many!

It is very similar to MAC Harmony but slightly lighter and I do love this as a blush as well as contour. Like all Nars blushers the pigmentation is great so you really don't need very much and the staying power is fab, especially over my Estee Lauder Doublewear. I alternate this in my 'everyday' makeup choices and probs go for it about 2-3 times a week, and that's a good recommendation for someone who has more blushers than hot dinners ha!
