I was lucky enough once again to attend London Fashion Week this season and although I wasn't able to document every outfit, I did pre plan this one and roped the old boyf in to take some quick snaps for me over the weekend.
I bought this Zara coat in the sale in January and I think it could be the best decision I've made this year. I'm really starting to see the importance of a good coat when it comes to taking a relatively boring/comfortable outfit up a notch. This has fast become a staple for me and I could easily wear this everywhere.
I of course had to bust out the vintage Chanel. I've had this bag for about 6/7 years and still can't quite believe how lucky I was to get it. I found it at Portabello Market and as it's quite beaten up I managed to get it for £250. I can guarantee I would never be able to find it for that price nowadays so I'm always quietly smug about this bag whenever I wear it.
When it comes to running around London, comfort is key and I love the way a
classic loafer and
skinny jean makes you look polished but still contemporary. It was also the first time I ventured out in anything other than black jeans. Khaki's a really easy shade to wear if you're not one for colour and a great nod to the looming spring months. When it comes to fit, my go to has to be the
Topshop Joni's. The high waist sucks you in to give a smooth silhouette and there's just the right amount of stretch for them to be structured but comfortable.
