The Body Shop 5 in 1 Instablur Action Perfector*

Being an oily gaaaaaal I am all about the priming. I'll be honest it can vary day to day if I decide to use it but say I'm going out or somewhere where I want to look put together and not have to worry too much about makeup sliding off my face, I'll prime for sure.

Billing itself as giving you photo ready skin in a flash, no filters needed, the Instablur from The Body Shop has some big claims to live up to. Being a 5 in 1 benefits include, 12h shine controlling, pore smoothing, blemish hiding, complexion unifying and makeup extending.

The consistency is kinda thick, it's a traditional silicone type primer somewhere in between Benefit The Porefessional and Bare Minerals Prime Time. It blends out really nicely and I agree it blurs pores, unifies the skin and helps makeup stay as fresh as possible, whether it's 12h shine control, I;d have to disagree but saying that, as someone very oily I really don't think anything will ever provide 12h shine control but that's OK, I don;t expect anything to, just a wee touch up here and there and I'm good to go.

So overall this primer gets a thumbs up from me, at £14 I think it's kind of expensive but it does do a good job, whether it's a can;t live without, I wouldn't say so but definitely worth a look if, like me, you find the Benefit The Porefessional not quite priming enough, for some reason I think it makes me more oily, so weird.

Wana know more? There's some great info on The Body Shop site as well as wicked videos included some of their beaut makeup products.
