Transition: New Neutrals from bareMinerals...

bareMinerals Ready palette in The Happy Place £29

If you follow me on my Youtube channel you may have noticed one thing, I really rate bareMinerals. Not every product, sure, but their matte foundation, new ready collection, mineral eyeshadows and all over warmth's consistently rank in my must have products. I love everything about the brand, the ethos, the packaging, the product, I can't explain what but something just really draws me to it.

I was lucky enough to attend the launch of their new corrector and concealer range where they were also showcasing the new Supernatural collection. That's when I laid my eyes on this absolute beaut of a palette. I am always keen to get my mitts on a new neutral palette, throw in some copper tones to suit my green eyes and I'm yours with bells on!

The collection consists of two of these limited edition eyeshadow palettes, the other one showcases more khaki tones, which is just as beautiful, but as mentioned previously, once I'd clocked the copper, shimmer tones in 'The Happy Place' I knew I had to have it!

I'm actually very impressed with the Ready collection as a whole, it's fab if you feel a little uneasy about switching to loose powder for highly pigmented products like eyeshadows and blushers and I do plan to feature two more of my favourite products very soon, but the eyeshadows really are phenomenal. Highly pigmented, apply like a second skin and last so well even on my oily eyelids (I do also use a MAC paint pot as a primer) If you're looking for a replacement (or something that travels well) for that trusty Naked Palette this is it. The packaging is super chic, very similar to Nars with that gummed coating, although this can get grubby, and not to mention super slim so perfect for traveling.

The thing I love though, obviously, is the shades. I was like a magpie when I first saw it, it's the perfect palette to transition your makeup from summer bronze to autumn warmth. It contains all the colours you could need, a soft highlight, warm, shimmery lid colours and the perfect shading colour to deepen the crease and use as a liner, it really is your one stop palette to the perfect smokey eye, not to mention any of them also look fab as a wash just over the lid when all you need, or can be bothered to do, is a wee pick me up!

I admit, it's not the greatest product in terms of value, but if you're looking for a treat, or with Christmas round the corner (!) I'd definitely recommend having a swatch or two upon your next beauty hall visit.

Have you tried bareMinerals?

Until the next post!
